SafePro BC trolley fire extinguisher for fuel, oil and gas sites
Where large amounts of petrol, diesel, solvents or LPG are stored, a fire can grow faster than a small extinguisher can handle. The SafePro BC trolley fire extinguisher carries 25, 50 or 75 kg of BC dry powder on wheels, with a long hose and nozzle. A BC trolley fire extinguisher is listed for Class B (flammable liquids) and Class C (flammable gases) fires, the main risks at fuel and gas sites.
Compare it with other trolley type extinguishers and our BC fire extinguishers, all by SafePro.
Typical sites
- Petrol pumps, CNG stations and fuel depots
- LPG godowns, bottling plants and gas manifold rooms
- Refinery units, tank farms and chemical plants
- Bus depots, transport yards and aircraft hangars
Stored pressure, inside cartridge or outside CO2 cartridge?
With stored pressure, the vessel stays pressurised and a gauge shows its state. The inside cartridge type keeps a gas cartridge within the vessel that pressurises the powder only when you operate it. The outside CO2 cartridge type mounts a CO2 cylinder on the trolley frame, so it can be checked and swapped without opening the powder vessel. Pick the one your site safety plan or consultant asks for, or ask us.
BC trolley or ABC trolley?
If the area is mainly fuel and gas, BC powder is aimed squarely at that. If there are also pallets, cartons or wooden crates around, the SafePro ABC trolley fire extinguisher adds Class A cover. Hand-held SafePro BC fire extinguishers at each dispenser or bay are the first line of response.
