Electrical Safety Audit for Factories, Offices and Buildings

Many workplace fires start in electrical panels and wiring. An electrical safety audit finds overloaded circuits, loose connections, poor earthing and unsafe practices before they cause a shock or a fire, and gives you a clear report with a priority list of what to fix.

Why get an electrical safety audit

Electrical faults are one of the most common causes of fires at work. Most of them build up slowly: a connection that loosens and heats a little more every day, a panel that took on extra load when new machines came in, an earth pit that was never maintained. An electrical safety audit finds these problems while they are still small and cheap to fix.

The audit also looks at people, not just wires: who can open the panels, whether lockout tagout is followed during maintenance, and whether staff know what to do if someone gets a shock.

What you get

  • A clear report: each finding with its location, the risk, and the recommended action.
  • Priorities: what to fix now, what to plan, and what is fine.
  • Safety items in one quote: CO2 fire extinguishers for panel rooms, PPE and safety products and signs, with GST invoice.

Combine it with a fire safety audit

Electrical and fire risks are closely linked, so many sites do both on the same visit; the fire safety audit is done by our sister brand Drown Fire: see fire safety audit. Add electrical safety training for your maintenance team.

Electrical safety audit FAQs

Quick answers to what companies ask us most. For anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.

Ask on WhatsApp
What is an electrical safety audit?

It is a structured check of your electrical installation and work practices: panels, wiring, earthing, protection devices and how people work around electricity. You get a report of what is fine and what needs fixing first.

How long does an electrical safety audit take?

It depends on the number of panels and the size of the site. A small office can take a few hours; a large plant may take a full day or more. We confirm the time when you share your site details.

Will there be a power shutdown during the audit?

Most checks are done without a shutdown. If any check needs a panel to be switched off, we plan it with your team in advance.

What do we get after the audit?

A written report with each finding, its location, the risk and the recommended action, marked by priority, so your electrician knows what to fix first.

How often should an electrical audit be done?

Once a year is a good habit for most workplaces, and again after adding new machines or load, after an electrical incident, or when moving into a new building.

Can you do the fire and electrical audit together?

Yes. Many sites do both on the same visit, since electrical faults are a common cause of fires. Mention it in the request form and we plan both together with our sister brand Drown Fire.
