Newage fire hose pipe 63 mm x 15 m for hydrant systems
The Newage fire hose pipe 63 mm x 15 m is the standard delivery hose kept in hose boxes and next to yard hydrants. It is non-percolating, so water stays inside the lining and reaches the branch pipe at full flow. Each length comes fitted with a pair of 63 mm instantaneous couplings, one male and one female, in gunmetal (GM) or SS-304.

Type 1, Type 2 or Type 3: how the three hoses differ
- Type 1 (Premier): 100% polyester woven jacket with a black EPDM rubber lining that handles heat and dirty water. A sound choice for indoor hose boxes in offices, hotels and housing societies.
- Type 2 (Premier Extra): the same build plus an outer coat of synthetic elastomer that keeps out moisture, fungus and oil and adds abrasion resistance. Standard colour is red. Suits basements, parking and outdoor hydrant points.
- Type 3 (Pyroprotect): a ribbed synthetic rubber cover over high-tenacity fibres, with a smooth polymer lining for low friction loss. Standard colour is reddish brown. Picked for refineries, chemical plants and rough yards where the hose is dragged often.
GM or SS coupling?
Gunmetal couplings are the traditional fit and match most older landing valves and branch pipes. SS-304 couplings are lighter and keep a bright finish in damp or coastal sites. Both are 63 mm instantaneous pattern, so they connect to the same valves and nozzles.
Complete the hose line
