Vertex rubber expansion joint cover V170
The Vertex rubber expansion joint cover V170 is a 500 x 225 x 20 mm rubber piece laid over the gap between two concrete slabs. Buildings, parking decks and ramps have expansion joints so the slabs can move a little with heat and load. Left open, these gaps catch tyres, trolley wheels and heels and collect dirt. A rubber cover gives a smoother, safer crossing.

Planning the length
Each piece is 500 mm long, and pieces are laid end to end along the joint. Measure the full length of the joint and divide by the piece length to get an idea of the count. The cover is 225 mm wide, so check that it spans your gap with room to fix on both sides. Share the joint length and gap width and we will confirm the quantity.
Fixing
