Vertex rubber corner guard for parking pillars and walls
The Vertex rubber corner guard is an angled rubber strip that wraps the edge of a pillar or wall. In tight basements and stilt parking, bumpers and doors often scrape against concrete corners. The rubber takes the knock, so the car gets fewer scratches and the corner does not chip.
It is part of our corner guards range under road safety equipment, from Vertex. Choose the length with the buttons above.
Three lengths for different corners
- V30, 500 mm L shape: a short guard for wall corners, ramps, lift lobbies and the lower part of pillars where bumpers hit.
- V40, 800 mm column guard: made for parking columns, covering more of the corner where doors and mirrors pass.
- V50, 1000 mm: the longest piece, for tall corners or where you want one guard to cover the full bumper and door zone.
Why use a parking corner guard
A parking corner guard is a small item that saves repeated repair work. It cuts down on paint touch-ups on pillars, makes the corner easier to see when you reverse, and gives drivers a little margin while turning in narrow bays. Many sites fit them on every column that faces a driving lane.
Fixing
Corner guards are usually fixed with anchor screws or a strong adhesive on a clean, dry surface. Fix the bottom of the guard close to the floor so it meets the bumper height. For a full parking layout, add the Vertex rubber car stopper in each bay and a convex mirror at blind turns.
